NBA Trade Rumors: 4 predictions on who the Brooklyn Nets’ mystery trade target may be.

The Brooklyn Nets are a bad team right now. Despite the raw talent that is on this roster, the Nets have some identity issues that they are facing at the moment. They just fired their head coach and their talented roster has completely underperformed so far this season.

So much so that it was recently reported that the Nets have looked into making an acquisition via trade. But the player that the Nets are reportedly targeting or considering trading for wasn’t named in the report.

Who could the Brooklyn Nets be targeting via trade?

We have a couple of clues from the report from Ian Begley, and it’s that it’s a veteran shooter and this player resides in the Western Conference. That gives us enough information that we can make a few informed predictions on who this player might be.

First things first, there are a few teams we can all but eliminate. None of these teams will be selling at the moment: Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, and Golden State Warriors. And we know that the Los Angeles Lakers don’t have shooting.

So that leaves us with about four teams to look at. Let’s explore a few of our best guesses on this veteran shooter the Nets could be targeting.
