NBA: 10 things I think we know through the first 10 games of the season

This incarnation of the Brooklyn Nets may not last the season

It would be extremely surprising at this point if the Brooklyn Nets are as is by the end of the season. I’m not saying they’re going to make a trade to improve the roster or to vault them into contention, but they just need to make one to maintain existence.

Right now, the Nets are in disarray. Kyrie Irving is suspended, Kevin Durant just wants to play ball, and they don’t have a head coach. And we’re barely in the third week of the regular season. Who knows how this team will look a week from now, much less a few months from now?

Though, the way things are trending, this current incarnation of the Nets can’t last. It just won’t work. By the time April and May come around, It’d be surprising if we weren’t talking about a very different team in Brooklyn.
