The Cleveland Cavaliers are better than we thought they could be

The Cleveland Cavaliers are not just good, they’re really good. They’ve been one of the biggest surprises in the Eastern Conference this season and are currently 7-1 while playing the majority of their games this season with Darius Garland sidelined with an injury. Suffice to say, the acquisition of Donovan Mitchell was an excellent move.

Mitchell looks rejuvenated and every bit the superstar that many thought he could be during his time in Utah. Through the first few weeks of the season, the Cavs have consistently been the second-best team in the East. And they already have two signature wins over the Boston Celtics (both in overtime).

It’s beginning to seem that Mitchell was the perfect player for the Cavs. With all the young talent that they have next to Mitchell, this is a team that is just going to get better as the season goes on too.

Cleveland is for real. The rest of the East needs to realize this.
