Three other early-season trends that the Los Angeles Lakers should worry about that have absolutely nothing to do with Russell Westbrook. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a brutal start to the season. If the Lakers had the opportunity to restart the season, I have little doubt that they wouldn’t hesitate to do so. However, that can’t be done and the Lakers have to figure out how to survive with what they’ve currently been dealt with.

While Russell Westbrook has been an easy target of blame over the course of the first few weeks of this season (and even dating back to last year), the Lakers have far greater issues that extend beyond just Westbrook’s fit with the team.

The Los Angeles Lakers may need a complete overhaul

It’s not entirely fair to place all of the Lakers’ struggles on just Westbrook. While he’s a player that has his faults, there are many other early-season trends that have to have the Lakers worried heading into the thick of the season.

Let’s explore three early-season concerning trends that the Lakers need some clarity on as well, each of which that have almost nothing to do with Russell Westbrook.
