Do the New York Knicks still need to trade Julius Randle?

All throughout the New York Knicks’ struggles last season, all the noise was surrounding a potential trade of Julius Randle. However, that pretty much cooled over during the offseason. But that’s still something that may need to be revisited.

The Knicks are in an early-season rut and he may be the ideal player on the roster that could be moved to help the Knicks make a shift to their roster. Randle is averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game on 44 percent shooting from the field. Though, he may not be the best fit for this team’s current needs.

And that has echoed throughout the last couple of seasons. But the big question is whether or not the Knicks will actually explore a potential trade of Randle ahead of the trade deadline. If the Knicks wanted, they could make a deal happen. That’s the power of the future picks that the team has at their disposal.

Will the Knicks make a move? If they continue to lose at this current pace, New York may not have any other option. After the all-in move for Jalen Brunson, the Knicks have to start winning sooner rather than later.
