Golden State Warriors

Through the first 12 games of the season, the Golden State Warriors have been nothing special. And that’s somewhat of a surprise for a team that is coming off a championship. At the very least, they would be able to show some promise (in spurts) but there has even been little of that this season.

We all know that the potential is there for the Warriors. We’ve seen it time and time again from this core, and four times on the championship stage. For one reason or another, it simply hasn’t clicked for the Warriors this season. And for a team that just won a championship, with relatively the same roster, it is somewhat concerning.

If the Warriors continue to struggle and look average, the chances that this team makes a big move at the trade deadline will raise. And with the team already having locked up Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, it’s looking more and more like their core has shifted away from Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. That’s just something to keep in mind.
