Kevin Durant
The Nets reportedly never got close to trading Kevin Durant this summer, because few contending teams had serious trade packages worthy of a still top-5-ish player.
That might not have changed, but even if the Nets don’t get a historic haul, there will be opportunities to get plenty of alluring picks and players for him, especially after more recently-signed players become available December 15 and January 15.
If things got worse for the Nets and they wanted to hit the eject button on this team, they could. Most, if not all, of the pieces on this roster (perhaps with the exception of Kyrie Irving) are tradable. Especially Durant.
