Durant is probably the only player on the roster who can fetch a good draft pick (or a zillion) on his own, but the team also has useful veterans like Seth Curry and Royce O’Neal (partial guarantee) on expiring contracts, and several others like Patty Mills, Joe Harris, Nicolas Claxton on approximately-market value contracts only extending to 2024.

Certainly, teams with bad-value contracts like the Lakers and Knicks would attach picks for some Nets role players.

There is a world where the Nets can gain at least four relatively-alluring picks for Durant, and up to three for role players, plus young prospects and solid role players (to either keep in 2024 to spite the Rockets or flip for more picks.) @Mavericks you want good role players for Davis Bertans and picks? @Miami same for Duncan Robinson?
