It’s time for the Golden State Warriors to go all-in on Stephen Curry. That means trading the young assets to extend his championship window.

Over the past decade, there’s not a team in the NBA that has had more consistent high-level success than the Golden State Warriors. In the past 10 years, the Warriors have only missed the playoffs twice – and injuries are probably the only reason why in both of those seasons. During that span, they have 23 playoff series wins and have won four NBA championships.

Still, there’s an argument to be made that the Warriors are not close to being done. The Warriors are the defending champions and you can make the case that they won the chip last year without even playing their best basketball.

Though, something happened at the start of this season. In an attempt to try to balance the team’s original big three along with some of the team’s young, budding stars, the Warriors have hit some turbulence.

The Warriors are just 6-8 and it’s clear that something is off with the team.

The Golden State Warriors have the opportunity to do something special

The Warriors have the opportunity to do something special, but it’s not bridging a former big three with a new one. No, it’s not that. It’s continuing to win with Stephen Curry as the primary piece. But if the Warriors want to do so, they can’t get selfish. They need to do everything they can to extend Curry’s title window. Unfortunately, that means cutting bait with some of their young players.

Let’s take a look at three reasons why the Warriors need to go all-in on Curry’s title window (and aborting the team’s original plan to integrate a new era of Warriors’ stars), which means trading some of their young assets/potential future stars.
