Stephen Curry deserves to have the full support of the Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry has been everything that the Golden State Warriors have wanted in a superstar and in a face of the franchise. He helped build a perennial championship contender and then didn’t throw a pity party when the team went through a pretty rough two-year stretch. Then, he signed an extension.

Now that Curry has helped get the Warriors back to the promised land, the Warriors should continue to do whatever they can to support him and extend or maximize his championship window. The Warriors should not be thinking about life after Curry. That’s not fair. That’s not what Curry did to the Warriors; it’s not what the Warriors should be doing to Curry.

Look, I understand that the Warriors’ front office tried to pull off the unthinkable. But it’s become pretty clear that it’s not going to work. And the team shouldn’t wait around or buy time until it does.

The Warriors need to be all-in on Curry and make the necessary moves to prove it.
