Coby White, Chicago Bulls

At this point, I believe that it would be pretty shocking if the Chicago Bulls didn’t trade Coby White at the deadline. If they don’t, they are probably trading a bigger name on the roster – and that would provide bigger questions than answers for the franchise moving forward. But that’s a different conversation for another day.

White is a talented scorer that has seen his role with the Bulls diminish over the past few seasons, mostly due to his limitations on the defensive end and the arrival of Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Alex Caruso. Nevertheless, he’s probably a player that the Bulls will eventually move on from – whether that’s at the NBA Trade Deadline or next summer during free agency.

White is only averaging eight points on 38 percent shooting from the field in roughly 20 minutes per night this season. It’s a bit head-scratching considering this is a player that was averaging 15 points, five assists, and four rebounds on 42 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from 3-point range during his second season in Chicago.

There’s a very real chance that White needs a fresh start to jumpstart his career.
