What to be grateful for: Victor Wembanyama atop the 2023 NBA Draft class
Despite the fact that they have a talented young core, it appears that the Houston Rockets are on the verge of another difficult season. At the moment, they have one of the worst records in the league and it’s hard to see this team making a big jump in the standings for the rest of the year.
However, they should be grateful that even though this will likely end up being a difficult season for the team, there could be a huge prize for them atop the 2023 NBA Draft class – Victor Wembanyama.
Of course, we know that having the worst record in the league doesn’t guarantee the top pick but it will give the Rockets a good chance to land it. And if the Rockets manage to land Victor, the sky is the limit for this team over the course of the next 3-5 seasons.
