What to be grateful for: Paul George’s commitment to Kawhi and LA
I’m not sure where the LA Clippers would be without Paul George and his commitment to both Kawhi Leonard and the team. Just think: If PG was not on this team, can you imagine the narratives that would be stemming from this franchise right now? Kawhi is injured and is nearly two years from playing full-time and the team has underwhelmed over the last couple of seasons.
PG has somewhat stabilized all that for the franchise. Even this season, the team would be lost without him. He’s leading the Clippers as Kawhi continues to recover from injury. The hope is that he’s back at some point and can take some of the pressure off of PG. Who knows when that’s going to happen?
The Clippers should be grateful for PG and his continued commitment to a franchise that probably historically doesn’t deserve it. We’ll see how it all works out and if this core eventually delivers a championship for LA.
