What to be grateful for: Bam Adebayo’s perseverance amid constant criticism
As many predicted would happen this season, the Miami Heat have been uneven through the start of the new campaign. As they continue to try and figure things out, there’s one variable that the team should be grateful for this year – Bam Adebayo. No matter what has happened this season, he’s been extremely consistent for the team.
Despite the constant criticism that he isn’t aggressive enough or isn’t shooting 3’s, Bam does nearly everything on the floor for the Heat. He’s their Defensive Player of the Year candidate, the team’s interior offensive threat, and always plays with a high motor. He’s an all-around team guy and everything you want in a max player.
Are there areas of his game that need to improve? Absolutely. But the Heat should be grateful that Bam is going to be part of this franchise for a very long time. At least that’s what it looks like at the moment.
