What to be grateful for: Signing Jalen Brunson

The New York Knicks may have missed on landing Donovan Mitchell during the offseason but Jalen Brunson is a player that has been extremely productive for the team so far this season. He was signed during the offseason and is looking more and more like a valuable part of this team.

The Knicks still have some things to figure out, as they continue to be inconsistent, but this team has a talented core that is good enough to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks should be grateful for Brunson jumping on board. He’s not the one piece that’s going to take this team over the top but could be the start of something special.

New York would benefit from making a move or two over the course of the next couple of months. They have some rotation things to figure out and perhaps an in-season trade is something that could solve some issues.
