What to be grateful for: A certified superstar in SGA

Ever since the Oklahoma City Thunder traded Russell Westbrook and then Chris Paul, the team hasn’t been able to do much winning. The team has been knee-deep in a full-blow rebuild over the last few seasons and they’re finally beginning to see some of the fruits from all the losing.

Specifically, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looks like a certified superstar. If he isn’t a household name yet, he will be soon. In his fifth season in the league, SGA is averaging 32 points, six rebounds, and five rebounds per game on 55 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from 3-point range.

There isn’t much that he can’t do on the floor and is beginning to single-handedly carry the Thunder. If he gets any kind of help over the next couple of seasons, the Thunder won’t be losing at their current pace for long.
