What to be grateful for: Hope in young players

The Sacramento Kings need something good in their lives. They haven’t made the playoffs in 16 years and they may finally have some hope. Thanks in large part to their talented young players. That’s what the Kings should be grateful for most. That it finally appears things are beginning to click for some of their core players.

De’Aaron Fox is off to one of the best starts to his career and Keegan Murray has flashed at times this season. Domantas Sabonis continues to be a steady contributor in the frontcourt and Kevin Huerter will end up being one of the most underrated moves of the offseason.

This may be the best shot that the Kings have had in quite some time at making the playoffs. It’s still really early in the season, but Sacramento has some hope heading into the holidays. I’m not sure when the last time we said that with a straight face.
