What to be grateful for: Bradley Beal’s stubbornness

You say that like it’s a bad thing! In fact, Bradley Beal’s stubbornness, or whatever you want to call it, has been great for the Washington Wizards. It has helped this team remain in the limelight or, at the very least, remain relevant in the Eastern Conference. As long as Beal is a member of the Wizards, that will continue to be the case.

Even in the offseason, when Beal had every reason to not re-sign with the Wizards, he elected to stand pat and remain faithful or loyal to the team. Beal re-signed with the Wizards but there are still whispers that he could eventually ask out. For now, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The Wizards appear to be a team that is going to stick around in the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference. It’s early on in the season but if they can remain healthy, there’s no reason to think that this team won’t compete for a playoff spot. But if the wheels begin to fall off, Beal is certainly a name to watch.
