Ben Simmons must not allow the crowd to distract him

The fans and many within the organization felt like Ben Simmons basically gave up on the team as many believed that he was responsible for the Sixers’ past playoff failures during previous postseason runs.

This Philadelphia crowd will be unforgiving and relentless whenever Simmons touches the ball but it’s imperative that he remains focused and stays on track as he has currently been playing his best basketball for the Nets thus far.

The Sixers fan base feels like Simmons turned against them when he requested to be traded as they felt betrayed by his actions. All the fans and the Sixers organization ever wanted was for Simmons to improve and to hold himself accountable whenever he didn’t perform up to expectations.

Blessed with many physical gifts, it appeared that Simmons couldn’t find the determination or ambition to get better. It was frustrating because the few flaws in his game could have easily been fixed with a little bit of hard work and dedication and many feel as if he could have done more. Expect the Sixers’ home crowd to be loud as they will attempt to disrupt and harass Simmons all game long.
