The Miami Heat is having an existential crisis; can Pat Riley save the day one more time? 

Nearly 20 games into the regular season, the Miami Heat is in the midst of an existential crisis. They are 7-11 and don’t have the look of a team that is going to factor much in the Eastern Conference this season. They have no identity, look lifeless on most nights, and have been decimated by injuries early this year.

Even if the Heat can quietly turn their season around at some point this year, it’s almost impossible to envision Miami making a big move up the East standings during the second half of the year. At best, the Heat is looking more and more like a Play-In Tournament candidate.

Does Pat Riley have one more championship build in him?

The big question for this franchise is whether or not Pat Riley has one more miracle move in him to help change the team’s trajectory. In other words, can Riley maneuver another championship build?
