NBA Power Rankings: Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks rule the Eastern Conference
16. Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors continue to leave much to be desired. But there is a reason for optimism surrounding the team, and it’s the fact that they’re still quite dominant on their home floor. I don’t think that’s something that should be overlooked. Could that be chalked up to a championship hangover? Sure. Could it be due to a retooled supporting cast? Absolutely.
But if they can’t cure that part of their struggles, there’s reason to believe that this team will be able to be right back where they were last season. If they can get to the postseason healthy, this is a team that has the high-level talent to win it all.
While some will want to dance on the Warriors’ graves, I don’t think that this is it. Golden State has some issues, that’s for sure. But it’s way too early to discount this team. Do so at your own risk.
