13. Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz is another team that has outperformed their pre-season expectations so far this season. Many thought that they would be ranked toward the bottom o the league standings, specifically in the Western Conference, but the opposite has happened.

At the moment, the Jazz is a playoff team. That said, they’re only 1.5 games out from being ranked 11th in the West. They need to tread carefully over the next few weeks. Utah has been a great story so far this season but I still think it would be smart for them to seriously consider selling some of their veterans ahead of the trade deadline.

Utah can’t fall in love with this quick start to the season and remember that it could be nothing more than a mirage. And falling in love with a start that isn’t sustainable could snowball into a bigger mistake.
