12. Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are another team that has quietly been one of the more interesting teams to watch in the Eastern Conference. It appears that they have two really good young players that they should be excited about in Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin.

They also have a couple of really good veterans in Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, who they probably will eventually trade at the NBA trade deadline. But because they haven’t traded the two efficient veterans, the Pacers have a better record than many expected them to have at this point in the season.

That said, it’ll be interesting to see what path the Pacers elect to take out the deadline. Will they move forward with trading Turner and Hield or have they fallen in love with this solid start to the season and try to ride it into the postseason? It should be interesting to watch unfold.
