19. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have not been the team that some expected them to be at this point in the season. They don’t look like a championship contender but there is some glimmer of hope for the team as we enter the second quarter of the season.

Ben Simmons is beginning to look like his old self, slowly and slowly. Specifically, over his last six games, he’s looking more and more comfortable. At this point, that’s all you can ask from Simmons who took an entire season off.

It was always going to take some time for Simmons to fit in with what the Nets are building. But it remains to be seen how much more the Nets can improve over the next couple of months. They have to or there could be some big decisions to be made at the NBA Trade Deadline.
