New York Knicks add a veteran forward

If the New York Knicks come to the conclusion that their biggest needs are at the forward positions and they are determined to move Julius Randle, perhaps the Charlotte Hornets are a team that they should get on the phone with.

In this deal, the Knicks would move Randle’s contract, Cam Reddish (who the Knicks likely won’t be re-signing during the offseason anyways), and a future first-round pick. In return, New York would receive Gordon Hayward and P.J. Washington. Of course, this is all dependent on Hayward’s recovery from his current injury.

Assuming health, he’s a veteran presence that could help the Knicks.
