Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls is a team that I believe nearly every contender in the league should be watching. Their immediate future could depend on how the team performs over the next few weeks. Even though there was a report that suggested Lonzo Ball could return to the Bulls’ lineup early in 2023, that’s far from a foregone conclusion.

For example, if the Bulls are still ranked 12 in the Eastern Conference into January, there’s a very real discussion that would need to take place in the front office. Does the team put all their eggs in Ball fixing their issues or do they get proactive in trying to save some face this season?

One way that they could do that is by making a trade that would put them in a good place heading into the offseason. A few players that could be moved by the Bulls are Coby White (who should probably be traded either way), Nikola Vucevic (in the final year of his contract), Goran Dragic, Derrick Jones, and DeMar DeRozan.

It would be extremely surprising if the Bulls were full-blown sellers at the deadline but there has to be a universe in which they are. Is it this one?
