About the Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of six players averaging 30 points or better this season and he is making a case to earn his 3rd MVP award. He makes it look so easy every night putting up huge numbers while playing elite defense. It’s mind-blowing that Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.8 points per game while playing 32.9 minutes.
He also leads the league in usage percentage, fast break points per game with 5.9, and points in the paint per game at 19.2. The Bucks are 2nd in the East and have still found ways to win without their 2nd best player in Khris Middleton as he is expected to make his season debut tonight as the Bucks should be firing on all cylinders upon his return and make a legit run for the top spot in the conference.
He most likely will be on a minutes restriction as Mike Budenholzer probably will ease him into action. Middleton’s presence will allow even more floor spacing for Antetokounmpo to operate more efficiently and that could be a game-changer for the Bucks. They already have the best defense in the league not to mention that they are the best rebounding team and allow the least assists in the NBA.
Both Jevon Carter and Jrue Holiday have been brilliant defensively as both players are top 25 in steals and are a huge reason the Bucks rank #1 in defensive efficiency. Even though the Lakers have been playing well lately expect the Bucks to feast on the defensive end as the Lakers are among the worst in the league in terms of offensive rating and have the 7th worst assist to turnover ratio.
The Bucks are also one of the better shooting teams in the league. carter, Grayson Allen and Brook Lopez are all in the top 50 players when it comes to 3-point percentage as they can light it up from downtown.
