Lakers circle back to Buddy Hield, Myles Turner

In the end, if I had to bet on what deal the Los Angeles Lakers end up making, I believe they’re going to circle back to the trade that may or may not still be on the table with the Indiana Pacers. If they wanted, the Lakers and Pacers could expand this deal. But in its simplest form, it’s Russell Westbrook and the Lakers’ two future first-round picks in exchange for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.

Turner and Hield are players the Lakers could insert right now into their rotation and pay dividends. They’re two players playing arguably some of their best basketball and would, if nothing else, add some major intrigue to the Lakers.

The big holdup during the offseason was LA’s unwillingness to include both of their trade-eligible future first-round picks. And how can you blame them?
