Lakers add depth from Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets could present some interesting possibilities for the Los Angeles Lakers via trade. In an attempt to add some depth to their frontcourt and flexibility to their roster overall, the Lakers could target the trio of Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre Jr., and P.J. Washington in exchange for Russell Westbrook’s contract and the team’s two future first-round picks.

The question is whether or not the Lakers would want to add those three frontcourt players when they already have LeBron James and Anthony Davis dominating their minutes at the 4 and 5. On the other hand, it could help take some of the pressure off of them as well.

While this move would certainly improve the Lakers’ roster, there have to be some questions as to whether or not including both future first-round picks would be too much.

How desperate are the Lakers?
