Lakers trade for DeMar DeRozan

DeMar DeRozan is a player that the Los Angeles Lakers have already been linked to, so this is not surprising to see it again. That said, if the Chicago Bulls get to a point where they’d be open to making some changes, this is where this possibility gets real.

Although, I’m not sure that is something the Bulls are going to consider at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline. Assuming they would, the Bulls should jump at the opportunity to snag two of the Lakers’ future first-round picks. Let’s be honest, the Bulls are not winning anything this season. It would be wise for them to explore their options.

Plus, we know DeRozan had an interest in the Lakers and actually thought he was signing with them when he was a free agent last summer. DeRozan would theoretically work in LA and he’s still a high-level scorer. Could it come to fruition? Yes. Will it? I’m not sure.
