Eric Gordon is another player that the Cleveland Cavaliers should try to get in on. He has the potential to be a spark off the bench and has the veteran experience needed to play any role that the team needs him to. Even in his advanced age, there’s no question that Gordon could still have some left in the tank.

This season in Houston, Gordon is averaging 12 points on 44 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range. He’s soon-to-be 34 years old but he’s still more than capable of running a second unit. If the Cavs are looking for a more veteran-laden option, Gordon should absolutely be considered.

Plus, Gordon is on a very affordable contract and has a team option for next season. If it simply doesn’t work for Cleveland, they could always decline his $20 million option for next year and let him hit free agency.
