Lonnie Walker, Los Angeles Lakers

Keeping up with the same line of thinking, if the Los Angeles Lakers want to upgrade the roster ahead of the NBA Trade Deadine that doesn’t involve Russell Westbrook or any of their future first-round picks, perhaps they would be open to moving Lonnie Walker?

Walker is actually having a really good season for the Lakers. He’s arguably been their best player not named LeBron James or Anthony Davis. Walker is averaging 16 points on 47 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Let’s also remember that he only signed a one-year deal with the Lakers during the offseason. And he’ll be an unrestricted free agent during the offseason. Perhaps he’s a player that Los Angeles would want to sell high on at the deadline?
