8. Phoenix Suns

After such a great start to the season, the Phoenix Suns have begun to fall back to the pack a bit. They’ve fallen outside of the top 3 in the Western Conference and there are some major red flags surrounding this team.

And one major one revolves around Chris Paul. If he can’t turn his season around, I have a hard time believing this is a team that can win the West.

7. Brooklyn Nets

Over the last few weeks, the Brooklyn Nets have consistently been one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference. It seems that they have begun to hit their stride as a team and are beginning to look like the title threat that everyone believed they would be before the season.

If they can remain healthy, it’s becoming pretty clear that the Nets are going to pose a major threat in the East.
