4. Denver Nuggets

Before the season, I believed that the Denver Nuggets were going to play a huge factor in the Western Conference. And aside from a few head-scratching losses, that’s exactly what has transpired. This is a team that is talented and deep enough to win a title.

The big question for this team continues to revolve around consistency. Right now, I’m not sure they’re at that place yet where they could be counted on to make a deep run.

3. Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to defy the odds as a young, rising team in the Western Conference. Every time I count this team out and expect them to fall back to reality, they continue to play at a high level.

And, now, this team is sitting atop the West standings.
