For as long as Luka Doncic has been in the league, his greatness has been undeniable. He’s one of the five best players in the league right now and it’s a downright atrocity that the Dallas Mavericks haven’t been able to find the right “second star” to place next to him.
They’ve tried but have not been successful. And that’s what the Mavs should be hoping for this holiday season. If the Mavs can find the right “robin” for Luka, there’s no question that Dallas can be a true championship contender for years to come.

Christmas wishlist: Some respect from the national media
The Denver Nuggets have been one of the better teams in the Western Conference this season. They have a loaded roster and a perennial NBA MVP candidate in Nikola Jokic. If they can remain healthy, they should be among the teams on the shortlist that can win the title this season.
Let’s get this movement going and this holiday season, this is a team that should be hoping for some respect.
