Portland Trail Blazers

Even though the Portland Trail Blazers have been pretty good this season, I still can’t help but think how an elite defensive wing such as OG Anunoby will help improve this team. Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons represent one of the best 1-2 punches in the Western Conference on the offensive end but leave a bit to be desired defensively.

Throw Anunoby in that mix, and the Blazers could be one of the most intriguing dark horse threats in the West. Of course, the uncertainty surrounding Jerami Grant makes everything much more complicated.

The Blazers will likely need to pay him big money during the offseason, and I’m not sure how that would impact a possible pursuit of I need to be. Still, in theory, a trio of Simmons, Lillard, and Anunoby (maybe Grant, too, if they could figure that out) would be intriguing, to say the least.
