No. 1: Milwaukee Bucks @ Boston Celtics

Was there any doubt what game would rank No.1 on this list? The Bucks and Celtics are the only teams remaining with 10 or fewer losses in the association. This matchup is truly what Christmas Day games are made for, at this moment there is a real chance this could be an Eastern Conference Finals preview.

Coming into the game, the Celtics hold one of the better home records, whereas the Bucks possess a rather lackluster road record. This could potentially impact how this game is going to swing. Another compelling factor is the Celtics are the best offensive team in the NBA averaging the most points per game at 118.0. Whereas Milwaukee is the fourth-best defensive team allowing only 108.9 points per game. The contrasting styles will give whatever team dictates the tempo a large advantage on Christmas afternoon.

Individually fans will be locked in on the matchup between Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Both All-Star locks are top-five in points per game and have a chance to win the scoring title this season.

This will be the Bucks and Celtics’ first of three meetings, with the next coming on Valentine’s Day, and the final contest occurs on March 30, 2023. If the standings hold up, Boston and Milwaukee’s third and final meeting could have seeding implications.
