11. Golden State Warriors – Kyle Filipowski, C, Duke

After winning the championship last season, it’s extremely surprising to see the Golden State Warriors this high on the NBA Mock Draft list, but here we are. If the Warriors can’t right the ship, there is a very real chance they’ll be selecting in the lottery once again.

With the disaster that James Wiseman has been recently, would the Warriors add some insurance and draft a center with their lottery pick? Wiseman was supposed to be a player that helps the Warriors reach heights that not many believe a team could. But he hasn’t been that through the first couple of seasons of his career.

One option that the Warriors could take with the No. 11 pick is selecting Kyle Filipowski out of Duke. The freshman 7-footer is averaging 14 points and nine rebounds per game on 42 percent shooting from the field. He’s also shown an ability to stretch his range to the 3-point line.
