15. Miami Heat – Terquavion Smith, G, NC State
The Miami Heat has had a difficult season. They have clearly taken a step or two back in the Eastern Conference this season and need to make a chance to their roster soon. Perhaps it may not come until the offseason when the Heat could have a lottery pick.
Selecting at No. 15, the Heat could take a chance on Terquavion Smith. He’s an interesting guard with the potential that would intrigue Miami. During his sophomore season, Smith is averaging 18 points, five rebounds, and four rebounds on 36 percent shooting from 3-point range.
16. Indiana Pacers – G.G. Jackson, F, South Carolina
The Indiana Pacers could look to add to their frontcourt in the event that they do move forward with trading Myles Turner at the deadline. G.G. Jackson is an interesting name to keep an eye on as the freshman is averaging 17 points and seven rebounds per game on 36 percent shooting from 3-point range for South Carolina.
