21. LA Clippers – Terrence Shannon Jr., F, Illinois

The LA Clippers have struggled with consistency this season and that has largely been linked to the availability of Kawhi Leonard. At this point, the Clippers can’t really put all their eggs in the Kawhi basket. They need to be drafting for what potentially lies in the next era.

That’s where drafting Terrence Shannon Jr. could make sense. Shannon is a 6-foot-6 senior that could be ready to contribute right away. He’s averaging 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game on 46 percent shooting from the field at Illinois.

22. Phoenix Suns – Terrance Arceneaux, F, Houston

The Phoenix Suns need to add some insurance in the event that they trade Jae Crowder and/or Cam Johnson. I’m not saying that a first-round pick will be able to enter the rotation right away in Phoenix but Terrance Arceneaux could be an option for the team in the draft.

He could be inserted into the developmental system and flourish down the line.
