Out of France, currently playing for Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A, it would be a crime if Victor Wembanyama wasn’t the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He’s arguably the most highly-touted prospect to ever come out in recent history and has the look of a generational talent.

Victor is 7-foot-2 but doesn’t play like a traditional center. In fact, you can make the argument that he plays more like a guard than a big. And that’s one of the reasons why many expect him to change the entire landscape of the league.

Victor does things on a basketball court that we have never seen from the position. Victor had hit the 3-ball, can take you off the dribble, and is a freak of nature on the fastbreak. Oh, and he’s still just 18 years old. The sky is the limit for Victor and he will unquestionably be the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft.
