NBA Draft prospect Noah Clowney (Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports)

29. Indiana Pacers (via BOS) – Noah Clowney, F, Alabama

With another first-round pick to close the first 30 picks, the Indiana Pacers could take a shot on Noah Clowney, who has been a standout during his freshman season at Alabama. The 6-foot-10 power forward is averaging 10 points and nine rebounds on 51 percent shooting from the field.

If Clowney could continue to develop his jump shot, he has a real shot to be a true contributor at the next level. He will be a project, however.

30. Houston Rockets (via MIL) – DaRon Holmes, C, Dayton

With the final pick in the first round, the Houston Rockets take a shot on a big. It’s not every day that a franchise is going to jump at taking a center, but DaRon Holmes could be an exception.

The sophomore 6-foot-10 center is averaging 18 points and eight rebounds on 57 percent shooting from the field.
