3. Houston Rockets – Amen Thompson, G, Overtime Elite

The Houston Rockets have one o the NBA’s most loaded young rosters. Led by Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Kevin Porter Jr., and Alperen Sengun, the Rockets have a bright future that is only going to get even brighter by adding another top 5 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. With the top two consensus prospects off the board, the Rockets could target a playmaking guard such as Amen Thompson.

While there are concerns with his overall offensive scoring prowess, the Rockets have enough firepower on that end of the floor where they would greatly benefit from his playmaking and his scoring issues wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Again, Thompson is still growing as a player and shouldn’t be placed into that small of a box of what he is/isn’t at this point in his career. Thompson would be an interesting addition to what is an already talented young core in Houston.
