4. San Antonio Spurs – Cam Whitmore, F, Villanova

The San Antonio Spurs have plenty of work to do heading into the offseason. And it will only get more difficult if they don’t have the fortune of landing one of the top two picks in the 2023 NBA Draft.

This pick is all about potential and what Whitemore could be 3-4 years down the line. The Spurs need to make a splashy move during the offseason and after missing out on both Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson, look for San Antonio to take a shot on the framework of a start.

The Spurs have one of the best developmental systems in the league and inserting a top 5 talent in it could be an interesting experiment to watch. Whitemore fits the bill as one of the more explosive and raw talent prospects in this draft.

He could end up being the next breakout star that comes out of the Spurs’ camp.
