The New York Knicks will trade Julius Randle

Even though the Knicks have shown some signs of greatness so far this season, I don’t think anyone would say that this team is “great.” They’re still a player or two away, at the least, and this team will likely be aggressive at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline and into the offseason. Even more so if the season doesn’t end to their liking.

One of my predictions for the Knicks heading into next year is that they will trade Julius Randle. I know, big surprise – the Knicks are going to trade a player that has found his name in the rumor mill for the past year and a half. But I believe that this year is finally when the Knicks will do it.

In an attempt to take another step forward, the Knicks will try to move on from Randle and either open up the cap space to add another big-money player or they will try to trade him for a player that fits what they’re trying to build better.

Whether they’re willing to believe it or not, part of the Knicks taking another step forward includes trading Randle.
