He’s begun to turn it around but still has his work cut out for him heading into the thick of the regular season (and perhaps a postseason run). However, I predict by next season, Barrett will be considered the face of the franchise. No questions asked.
While some may already consider Barrett the team’s face of the franchise, I believe that will no longer be a question. Barrett is one of the most talented young players in the league and has the potential to do it on both ends of the floor – that has become somewhat of a lost art in the modern NBA.

Nevertheless, I believe that Barrett will continue to improve and get to a point where he is the defined star of the New York Knicks. No matter what moves the team elects to do at the NBA Trade Deadline or during the offseason. That’s how high Barrett’s ceiling could be.
