We take a look at five players that could be named to the NBA All-Star team for the first time in their respective careers.

This season has been one to remember for NBA fans thus far. There are 42 players averaging 20 or more points per contest, which is absurd. With the All-Star game quickly approaching there are a lot of people who have thrown their names in the bunch for an All-Star berth. I will be looking at 5 players who have come onto the scene and are looking at potential first-time All-Star appearances.

Honorable mentions

  • De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings- 23.3 points, 5.5 assists, 4.9 rebounds
  • Tyler Herro, Miami Heat- 21.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists
  • Paolo Banchero, Orlando Magic- 21.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists

Let’s explore five players that are up to be an NBA all-star for the first time in their careers.
