Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers

The guard out of Iowa State has made quite the splash almost midway through his third NBA season. It is safe to say the Indiana Pacers have found the ideal floor general for the future. Haliburton is averaging 20.5 points and 10.2 assists on 48% from the field along with a 40% clip from three-point range.

Haliburton is the only player in the NBA averaging double-digit assists. The Pacers were regarded as a bottom-of-the-barrel team headed into the season, but they sit at 18-18 which is 8th in the Eastern Conference. Tyrese has almost been the sole reason Indiana has found itself winning games. He has the complete package as a point guard and is someone you can build around.

Haliburton is almost a lock for the All-Star game at this point since he is the only player in the league averaging 20 or more points and 10 or more assists. Haliburton has already established himself as one of the best true point guards in the league.
