Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls

This is where the list gets interesting and the names get bigger. It would take a catastrophe to happen if the Chicago Bulls get to a point where they trade Zach LaVine in 2023 but there is a path to that scenario. And you can make the argument that the Bulls are close to that point.

Right now, it’s hard to find many positives surrounding this team. They have won five of their last six games but are still out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference at the moment. Lonzo Ball may or may not return this season and there’s no reason to believe whey this team will turn the corner over then next few weeks.

The first step is retooling around LaVine. But LaVine has all the power. He’s a star in the NBA. We’re in the star era. If LaVine requests a trade, there’s really nothing the Bulls can do other than trade him. We may be a few months and a missed postseason away from that truly happening.
