Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards

After years of speculation, could this finally be the year that the Washington Wizards trade Bradley Beal? It could be. Let me explain why. For one, Beal got his money. There’s really no reason for him to stick around in Washington. And considering the Wizards have failed once again to retool around Beal, you can’t help but wonder if he’ll finally ask for a change of scenery.

If Washington does want to rebuild, trading Beal would give the team a great shot to get a head start on a new era. We could see the beginning of those steps at the NBA Trade Deadline, perhaps with a Kuzma trade.

Let’s also not forget that Kristaps Porznigis could test free agency this summer too. If both Kuzma and Kristaps leave, the Wizards will be at a crossroads. That could point to a potential Beal trade.
